Women’s Fishing Weekend
I’m excited for this! Join us for a three day, two night adventure at the Snowshoe Country Lodge in Isabella, MN, nestled just outside the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness!
We’ll have exclusive access to the lodge and its six cozy cabins, perfectly accommodating up to 10 people. Each cabin is equipped with a mini kitchen, ensuring a comfortable stay where everyone can unwind and share their experiences. These cabins are rustic but do have electricity, there is high quality water available to everyone through use of a hand pump, and each cabin has their own outhouse. Canoes are also provided.
This weekend is all about coming together as a community to learn new outdoor skills, whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out. The diverse mix of participants will enrich our experience, allowing for a collective pool of knowledge. Feel free to come alone or bring a friend—just let me know your rooming preferences, and I’ll arrange the bunks!
Fishing will be a highlight, and I can provide poles and gear for those who need them. The abundant waters of Sand Lake are home to a variety of fish, including Bluegill, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Walleye, and Yellow Perch. Don’t worry if the fish aren't biting; the true treasure of this weekend will be the camaraderie, shared stories, and the joys of learning together.
Get ready for an exciting weekend filled with fun, laughter, learning, and the great outdoors!
