This will be a fun all day class for beginner and experienced weavers alike! You will learn to make a small gathering basket callled a ribbed basket. At our home our ribbed baskets are often found gathering goodies from the garden, mushrooms from the woods, a holding spot for tools or crafting materials. Your willow basket will be strong and sturdy, a basket that you can put through the test of time with use and love.

We will be using our homegrown willow that we sell cuttings of and if you enjoy weaving we are happy to talk folks through the growing and harvesting of basketry willow. This class will be in South Minneapolis near Powderhorn Park, inside a residence. Enough space for 12 students to weave.

All tools and materials are provided.
