Come learn basketry basics!

This will be a fun all day class for beginner and experienced weavers alike! You will learn to make a small stake and strand basket. At our home our small stake and strand baskets are often found holding tools, kindling for our wood stove, beloved trash bins, bedside baskets, kitchen items, you name it!! Your willow basket will be strong and sturdy, a basket that you can put through the test of time with use and love.

We will be using our homegrown willow that we sell cuttings of for propagation and if you enjoy weaving we are happy to talk folks through the growing and harvesting of basketry willow. This class will be in South Minneapolis near Powderhorn Park, inside a residence. Enough space for 12 students to weave.

All tools and materials are provided.
