A Deep Dive into Craft
Immerse yourself in the traditional art of hide sheepskin tanning or basketry!
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll pick your craft track! Learn to weave your very own willow baskets using our homegrown willow or learn Sheepskin tanning. Arrive to set up camp October 7th and evening potluck. October 8th-11th will be weaving days. Sunday the 11th is a half day.
Workshop Details:
Instructors: Zac Fittipaldi and Maddy Boler will be leading basketry, you choose willow or Ash.

Location: Tamarack Lake Sandstone, MN
plenty of opportunities for canoeing and relaxing.
Accommodation: Tent camping on-site. For added convenience, you can rent a yurt.
Schedule:
First Night: Our weekend kicks off with a potluck dinner, bonfire, and getting the lay of the land.
Learning and Crafting: Spend the following days deep diving into your craft.
Evenings : In the evenings you will have the option to join in on various activities. Throughout the weekend we will be hosting games, song circles, a variety show, etc.
Pricing:
Course Fee: $450-$550, which includes camping accommodations.
Meal Plan Option: For an additional $140, enjoy two homemade meals each day plus breakfast the last day morning. These meals will have a mainly wild harvested and local focus.
A total of 7 meals, snacks, coffee, and tea and sweets.
